Ainoa Winery to compete at EMBLA Nordic Food Award Finals

Ainoa Winery has been chosen as the Finnish candidate in the food artisan category at the EMBLA Nordic Food Award Finals.

On June 1, 2019 in Reykjavik Iceland we will join candidates from Denmark, Faroe Islands, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Åland to compete for the title of Nordic Food Artisan of the Year.

We are humbled to be included in such an impressive group and can’t wait to participate in a wonderful celebration of Nordic Food Culture in Iceland.

About EMBLA

The EMBLA awards are managed by the Nordic Farmers Council and were established in 2017 under the direction of the Nordic Council of Ministers.  Its goal is to strengthen knowledge of Nordic Food Culture, and to promote the innovative people behind it.  The awards are given every two years, and a single individual, organization or company is chosen by each country for each of seven categories.  More information about the competition is available on the EMBLA website and on the Finnish entries in the press release by MTK and SLC, the Finnish organizers of EMBLA.
